How can I update incoming and outgoing server for Zimbra in Android Devices?

There are a few steps you can easily follow to update your Zimbra Account incoming and outgoing server in your Android mail client. This tutorial will show you how to update your account:

  • Go to “Setting”.

 

  • Select “Accounts”.

Case 1:

You configured your email as an “Exchange”:

  • Tap on “Exchange” and select your Zimbra account to update.

  • Under your account “Server settings” choose “Incoming Settings”.

  • In the “Server” field replace the existing incoming mail server with your new server’s name.
    Tap Done.

Congratulations you have successfully update your Zimbra account settings.

 

Case 2:

You configured your email as an “IMAP/POP3” account:

  • Tap on “Email” and select your Zimbra account to update.

  • Under your account “Server settings” choose “Incoming Settings”.

  • In the “Server settings”  tap on “Incoming settings” and replace the existing incoming server with your new server’s name.
    Tap Done.

  • In the “Server settings”  tap on “Outgoing settings” and replace the existing outgoing server with your new server’s name.
    Tap Done.

 

  • If the check completed successfully you will be redirected to your email.

Congratulations you have successfully changed your Zimbra account settings.
