How do I configure Email Account in Android Devices?

To configure your Android mail client, please follow these steps:

  1. Access “Email” application on your Android device.

  2. Start the setup by entering your “Email” and “password“, then click  “Manual setup
    Enter Email password then click manual setup
  3. Select what type of account you want, click either:
    • POP3 account”.
    • IMAP account” (recommended)

      choose POP3 or IMAP

    Notes

    Replace (lsdemo.net) with your domain-name.
    Replace (ls02.server.ly) with your server-name.
    IMAP is recommended because it allows you of synchronizing your emails across multiple devices.

     

  4. Incoming Server Settings
    • IMAP (Recommended)

      • Username : Your email address (eg : test@lsdemo.net)
      • Password : Your email login password
      • Server : (eg :ls02.server.ly)
      • Port : 993
      • Security type : SSL/TLS
      • When you are finished click “Next
        Incoming Email server SSL
    • POP3

      • Username : Your email address (eg : test@lsdemo.net)
      • Password : Your email login password
      • Server : Your server name (eg :ls02.server.ly)
      • Port : 995
      • Security type : SSL/TLS
      • Delete email from server : Never.
      • When you are finished click “Next
        POP3 SSL
  5. Outgoing Server Settings
    • SMTP

      • SMTP server :Your server name (eg : ls02.server.ly)
      • Port : 465
      • Security Type : SSL
      • Check “Require sign-in” checkbox
      • Username : Your email address (eg : test@lsdemo.net)
      • Password : Your email login password
      • Click “Next“.

  6. Keep the default Syncing settings, click “Next“.

  7. Finally you can:
    • Give your account a name.
    • Set a name of your choice for outgoing messages.
    • Click “Done”, to finish the configuration process.
      Click Done to finish the setup

Congratulations, your Email is now configured on your Android device to send and receive Emails.
