1.Open the Thunderbird application.
2.Go to Tools and click on Accounts Settings.
3.Click on the Account Actions button.
4.Select Add Mail Account.
5.On the “Mail Account Setup” page, enter your account settings:
Your Name : enter your name as you want it to appear on your outbound email messages.
Email Address : enter your complete email address.
Password : enter your email password .
7.Thunderbird will attempt to find your incoming and outgoing mail server information. Thunderbird should automatically configure your account for you.
9.Now you can send and receive the messages .If not, proceed to the next section.
Manually Configure Thunderbird
If you experience difficulty with automatic setup, follow these instructions to manually configure Thunderbird.
1.On the “Mail Account Setup” page click on Manually configure.
2.For IMAP Set the Incoming and Outgoing server mail.yourdomain.com. The port is 143. You can select None from the SSL drop-down menu. The default SMTP port is 25, but you can also use 587.
3.For POP3 Set the Incoming and Outgoing server mail.yourdomain.com. The port is 110. You can select None from the SSL drop-down menu. The default SMTP port is 25, but you can also use 587.
4.When you’re finished, click Re-test, then Done.
