    Why did you change the name from Office 365 to Microsoft 365?
    Microsoft has changed the name to be more reflective of the range of features and benefits in the subscription. Microsoft 365 includes everything you know in Office 365, including best-in-class Office apps, intelligent cloud services, and advanced security.
    Why should I buy Microsoft 365 if I already have Office apps on my desktop?
    With Microsoft 365 business plans, not only will you get the latest Office apps with automatic updates, but also the ability to easily and securely share and collaborate on documents using OneDrive for Business and Online Office apps, as well as creating a domain-based email address and share calendars and contacts with people inside and outside of your company.
    Is Internet access required for Office?

    Internet access is required to install and activate all the latest releases of Office suites and all Microsoft 365 subscription plans.

    For Microsoft 365 plans, Internet access is also needed to manage your subscription account, for example, to install Office on other PCs or to change billing options. Internet access is also required to access documents stored on OneDrive. It is also recommended you connect to the Internet regularly to keep your version of Office up to date and benefit from automatic upgrades.

    You do not need to be connected to the Internet to use the Office applications, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, because the applications are fully installed on your computer.
